HeadStart Action is a geographically and demographically focused personal and social development programme targeted at young people who are at risk of becoming NEET and require greater support to be in education, employment or training. Through social action, the programme supports young people to gain employability skills, aid their personal development and gain work experience.

Programme Structure

The programme is designed to support young people in developing the key skills they need to how  to work as part of a team, impact their communities through social action and build a pathway to employment.  You can learn more by clicking on the icon.

HeadStart Action works with local charities and some key national brands to provide young people with insight into the world of work, learning how businesses function and giving them access to highly sought after work experience placements.   There is even the opportunity to apply for employment opportunities which would get them on the first rung of the ladder and greatly enhance young people's prospects for the future.
