FRIDAY NIGHTS: Technical Skills needed  
Friday Nights 8 till late (doenst have to be every week)   Do you have technical skills, are you into operating sound desks, operating lights and controlling AV equipment, if not would you like to learn these skills. Oxygen is now looking for people who can be involved in the technical teams on Friday Nights at the basement. You would work with a brand new, state of the art system and have a good night out in the process

OFFICE: Help out with the admin and fundraising work  

During the day at times to suit you

 

Do you have a few hours free on a Thursday to help us with general office duties? Be part of a group of who help out in the office by helping organise with administration, applying to trusts and developing events that help support the work of Oxygen. Training and support provided as well as a chance to be involved at the heart of Oxygen’s work.

Korean Homework Club  

Thursdays

4 - 6pm

  The Oxygen (Sanso - OXygen in Korean) homework club at St James Church New Malden is a place for Korean speaking young people to come and recieve support with their homework. We are looking for people who can offer support either every week, or be on a rota. You don't need to have any particular academic skills, rather you need to be able to patiently help young people understand the questions that have been set.

MENTOR: Be trained so you can support young people one to one  

Occasional Evenings & weekends

 

Oxygen mentoring offers support for young people throughout Kingston Borough who could benefit from someone to talk to. Through mentoring young people are given a place where they can think through issues relating to themselves, their social environment as well as their hopes, dreams and beliefs. Oxygen mentors are trained, CRB checked volunteers. They are supported by a Mentor supervisor, who as well as being available in the case of emergency offers regular support.

Friday Night Events  
Friday Nights 7 - 10pm  

Learn about running events, gain skills in running sound and lights , help promote bands, comedy or movies. Do all this and stay busy on Friday nights at the basement, a partnership project between Oxygen and the YMCA. Volunteer on Friday nights and you can help put on some great events for young people whilst also having some fun yourself!
