suburbansoul
Suburban Soul is to take place during October half term (24th – 27th) and it will being together churches and young people from across Kingston Borough and South West London to take part in a week of action, mission and evangelism. Through Suburban Soul we are seeking to bless communities throughout Kingston Borough, as well as raise the profile of the church in the area. This provides us as younger members of the church a great opportunity to encourage and use the passion of young people positively in mission and evangelism and be an inspiration to the wider church.
During Suburban Soul’s Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings we will have worship and teaching followed by and afternoon of social action projects including sports tournaments, tea dance, cafes and clean up projects. Then to close the week in style on the Saturday afternoon will be a family festival and fun day where people from all over the world would come together in worship and celebration of cultural unity and diversity as well as hearing about the Jesus that unites us.
