2007 is the bi-centenary of the abolition of the Slave Trade in the UK. However now 200 years after slavery was abolished more people than ever before in history are transported illegally, sold into sexual exploitation, forced labour or service. IN 2005 the International Labour Organisation estimated that at 2.4 million are in forced labour as a result of human trafficking, and in 2003 UNICEF estimated that around 1.2 million children trafficked each year.

The freedom party is a chance for an evening of prayer, praise, petition and challenge. This event is to explain the issue of human trafficking but to share the good news that this Freedom is found and originated in Christ and starts with each of us personally.
