Oxygen Live

Oxygen Live is a brand new pilot project being organised by Oxygen in Partnership with Yorda Adventures, YADAPA and funded by Youth Music.

 

Oxygen live is a series of workshops targeted around young people with severe disabilities. Taking place between 2 and 4pm on Saturday afternoons during the second half of the Autumn term 2007, this small group of young people, along with carers will meet at the Oxygen site and engage in a music and percussion project. Over the course of the project they will have a chance to play and enjoy a range of conventional and not so normal instruments. As they gain familiarity with making music we hope to build to a coordinated piece together.

 

The project will end with a small performance for parents and friends at the Oxygen centre nearer to Christmas. For more information, or to be involved contact Richard or Debbie via the Oxygen office
