Over May Bank Holiday 2010 Oxygen are once again running their One Big Weekend event. Bringing together groups run by Oxygen as well as others from local churches, One Big Weekend aims to provide time to go away together, to have fun, take part in team building activities and be challenged to grow physically, mentally and spiritually.
This year we are heading to Henley Fort, Guildford, one of Surrey County council’s outdoor education centres. Here we will camp, eat as well engage in team challenges, group work sessions and campfires song and personal stories accompanied by the obligatory toasted marshmallows! The rest of the food for the weekend will be provided by Henley fort and will comprise of a high quality, locally sourced healthy menu. Tents and roll mats are also provided and inclusive within the price so all that needs to be brought is clothes, sleeping bag and a pillow (a full packing list will be sent out upon receipt of this booking form).
The cost of the weekend is £50 this includes camping, all activities and meals; for those in financial difficulties or with multiple children subsidies may be available, please contact Debbie Garden for more information.
