11/09 Oxygen’s Friday Night Project has been awarded a grant by Kingston Boys Club that sees them sponsoring 20 of Oxygen’s Friday Night events at the basement. The grant of £4,000 goes towards the costs of opening, staffing and serving young people with a wide range of creative projects from film and music to beatboxing and comedy.

Kingston Boy’s Club is a great supporter of Oxygen’s work having previously supported the Rm1 project as well as providing some equipment for use around the different projects. The Club, now a grant giving trust is what has been developed out of a project that worked with young people of Kingston for many years. In receiving the grant from the KBC Oxygen is ensuring the baton is passed on through the generations.
