Oxygen is run a staff team who comprise full time and part time workers as well as people who are allocated to work in partnership with us by local churches or organisations like the YMCA. Richard James - Oxygen Director

Richard is responsible for the overall direction of Oxygen, linking together the work with the local churches and community. Coming from the rugby heartlands of South Wales, Richard has previously worked as a church volunteer, youthworker, youth cafe manger and ship's chandler! Read more here

Debbie Garden - Senior Youthworker

Debbie is Oxygen's senior youthworker, reponsible for the recruitment, supversion and training of Oxygen's MIND THE GAP team. As Senior Youthworker she has oversight of Oxygen's youthwork projects, leadership of the Gap Year Team, she also leads on the going deeper work in Kingsnympton. Debbie grew up in various places throughout the UK and has previously worked as a church and community youthworker in a number of settings.

Kate Davies - Rm1 Coombe Leader and Mentoring Co ord

KATE IS CURRENTLY on MATERNITY LEAVE

Kate is leader of Rm1 in Coombe Boys School, New Malden and Oxygen's mentoring programme. A trained youthworker, Kate previously spent time working for Richmond youth service before joining Oxygen in 2007.

Sarah Parker - Office Manager

Sarah is Oxygen's Office Manager, responsible for the day to day running of the office, communications with outside partners as well as financial organisation and adminstration. Sarah, from New Malden has volunteered for Oxygen since 2002 and joined as a paid staff member in 2008

Paul Jacobs - Street Pastor Co-ordinator

Paul is Kingston's Street Pastor Coordinator. Street Pastors is an associated Oxygen project, running seperate, yet parallel to the main youthwork programmes. As well as running Street Pastors Kingston, Paul is a partner in a pub / restaraunt near Oxford and chair of Chruches together in Surbiton.

Tamara Lewis-Hamilton - ID & mentoring Lead Worker

Tamara is ID Project leader. Through ID, Tamara works with schools and community groups to develop and run social and self esteem workshops. She is also mentoring coordinator for Oxygen, linking up young people who would like someone to talk to with a trained Oxygen mentor.

Andrea Campanale - Art & Creativity Coordinator

Andrea is Oxygen's art and creativity coordinator. Employed by a grant from the Interfaith Trust, Andrea spends her time working with a range of youth and community groups to develop and encourage creativity and exploration of key life themes. She is available for bookings for KIngston based groups

Ashlee is Rm1 Combe Project leader whilst Kate Davies (above) is on maternity leave. Ashlee is also coordinator of the weekend events at the basement. He is on the lookout for creative young people who are willing to perform or be involved in planning and organisation
