24/7 Powerhouse
When you close your eyes, when you go into you room alone when you are sad and depressed who do you cry out to? Where does your hope come from? Christians believe that prayer is our life connection to God, it is the place and the thing that we use to draw closer to our maker, to both tell him what we are thinking and to hear in the stillness and the quiet as to what he is saying back to us.
For many people to find a place to spend time in prayer is hard and often we put it to the background, fitting it within our lifestyles when we can. Even if you have never tried praying before 24/7 prayer weeks are about changing that, they are a place where you can come, without pressures, without rushing to stop……….talk……….and then listen.
This year we are working with Churches together in Surbiton to run POWERHOUSE a prayer room in Surbiton that will run from the 28th April 2007 - 28th May 2007. Why not drop in for 10 minutes to see what is going on, before you know it 10 minutes will be 1 hour, and 1 hour will swiftly become 5.
